Our Ice Melter & Bin

We sell premium ice melter, not traditional road salt.
Our product is a pet-safe, eco-friendly, and interlock-safe ice melter designed to melt effectively at very low temperatures while being gentle on concrete, landscaping, and the environment.

We do not sell regular salt. However, we do sell ice melter / salt storage bins for our residential and commercial clients.

If you run out of ice melter, simply visit mysaltbin.com and purchase a Full Bin Refill.
Your 160 kg refill will be delivered within 5 days of your order — right to your bin, ready for use.

You can keep any leftover salt or ice melter in your bin until next season.
Be sure to keep the lid closed tightly to protect it from moisture and other weather conditions — this will ensure it stays dry and ready to use when winter returns.

No problem — we now offer half-bin deliveries.
This option includes 80 kg of premium ice melter, perfect if you just need a top-up before the end of the season.

Ice melter can freeze if it becomes wet and temperatures drop. To prevent this, always keep the bin lid tightly closed to protect the contents from snow, rain, and moisture. This will help keep the ice melter dry, loose, and ready to use throughout the season.

Our durable high-density polyethylene bins hold 5 cubic feet of salt or ice melter — equivalent to approximately 160 kg of product. They’re built to withstand harsh weather and keep your materials dry and ready for use all season long.

If you’ve purchased the Starter Kit, the bin belongs to you, and you’ll need to store it yourself during the summer months. The bin is made from durable high-density polyethylene, so it can easily be stored outdoors or in a shed.

If you prefer not to store it, we also offer a seasonal bin rental option, where we deliver the bin in late fall and pick it up in spring.
